I know this stretch all too well. and I stay in the middle myself. Posted is 55 I try not to do more then 5 over. Personally I like to keep my pay checks then risk a ticket because I want to keep up with everyone else it is just too much of a risk to run the right lane through there or all of Chicago for that matter. The stress and wear and tear on my truck is not worth it VS pissing off a few 4 wheelers that should be at work instead of clogging up the roads at 1pm on Friday

Some of you rookies need to learn that it is better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you are idiots than to open your mouth and prove you are. Quit putting people down and talking like you have no common sense. If you think you have a fast truck, you probably don't know what a fast truck is. If you are one of those who push people around while going through a town and talk trash while doing it, you are also probably one of those who get in the way once your out of town! We know the type.

Some people could drive a truck for a 100 years, and still have no common sense. It would also help, if some of the super truckers on here, would quit insulting the rookies. Some people on here, think a lot of years driving a truck equals a high IQ.

Turnpike, right lane,,,, highway, middle lane,,,, the reason too many close calls on the highway from people turning onto the hwy on a red light that don't even bother to look or stop to see if there is any traffic coming.

if im in a busy city and i can legaly do the speed limit i will ride in what ever lane i feel is necessary. as long as it doesnt say no trucks in left lane i will ride in whatever lane i feel like i want to. lot easier and safer to ride the left lane legally then it is trying to get over every 5 minutes due to on and of ramps and people not knowing how to merge correctly. lot easier for a car to switch lanes then it is for me.

Yeah whole lot safer stacking traffic up behind you and having cars and trucks cutting in front of you from both sides. The only time I can understand a truck camping in the middle is during rush hour. Any other time and it's nothing but for your own convenience.

I just pass the turds in the middle on the left...no sense in hollering on the radio either because you never get a response...pass them on the left and get on with your day.
