Just blew power steering hose,I need quick advice please!

Yep you can fry the pump up quickly.

Is it a pressure hose or a return hose?

Get a couple clamps, some duct tape or better yet another hose (heater hose works well) to stop the bleeding and clamp it.

Try really hard not to turn the wheels when you are stopped, but when you are rolling to keep the pressure down.

 

Don't idle as that will help to destroy the pump. If you lost the pressure hose, move the truck to a decent parking area and you'll either have to get a hose and fix it yourself or call road service. A truck parts supplier may deliver the part.

Power steering fluid is most likely engine oil.

 

You may be able to remove the belt without affecting any other of the accessories.

It's going to be a tough wheel to turn.

depends on color. If its red it will be just reg dexronIII if is brown or black it could be 10w or actuall power steering fluid. Volvos run dexron other makes will differ. It could also say on the resovoir whats required.
