Here I am asking questions again. I asked this when I thought I was going reefer and probably the same answer but will I be bobtailing home or will the trailer go with me? I just need to make sure because the place where my wife will be staying till I get some money rolling in will need some fence modifications and I need to know how much modifications, LOL? Thanx in advance

Depends entirely on if you have a safe, secure place, according to the company's requirements to park the rig. Us, we live in the middle of nowhere, on 12 acres w/ a very very long driveway. So, the rig stayed here. Unless he couldn't get it in here due to excessive rain...in which case it stayed at Freightliner in the city.

Yeah, this place is in the country and actually there is a couple next door that also drive as O/O and I have a blue heeler in the yard so this place is pretty secure to begin with. So I guess with that said, the trailer will be coming with. I knew pretty much that I would be bobtailing home but I wasn't sure about the trailer. I know prime doesn't have you take the trailer on the reefer side but I kind of figure they might on the skateboard side because every other flatbed company I have read about sends you home loaded and you leave from home and deliver.

Whether or not the trailer goes with you is up to sales and your FM, if they don't need it somewhere and can't find somewhere to leave it then it will be going home. Plan accordingly like it would be going home with you though, but if you don't or won't have room for it then speak up and let them know. Not a good idea to leave your truck and trailer out of site, unless you want to come back and find it vandalized, and Prime will take a dim view of that.

Yeah, I will make room for both just in case and then I don't have to worry about it. I guess I should have resolved to do this anyhow but it isn't my property and was just testing the waters to make sure I wasn't causing unnecessary trouble. Thanks for the heads up. Time to go build fence.

I've had a reefer in my driveway. Running even, with a load of bacon on it. Just sayin'.

LOL, Yeah me to, more than a few times, was kinda nice having the Wal-Mart DC just 45 miles away, Park at home overnight and drop the load in the morning and then go an my merry way. LOL

Do you know how hard it is to deal with the fact there is 30k+ pounds of BACON in your driveway???? The desire to break into the trailer had to be firmly taken in hand. I mean.......BACON!
