i'm loving it. i've picked up faster than the other trainees there who have been there 2+ weeks longer than me and i'll be released in a few days.. way ahead of them. its long hours, don't get me wrong, but the pay is decent once out of training and I get the sytem down.. comparable to Lonestar, although other companies pay better. But, i'm treated wonderfully here so I'm opting to stay in favor of treatment over pay. I head to San Antonio next week for safety training.. then i'll be certified to drive the company trucks. I've got 3 rack cards now and only have 2 more to go... then I can deliver for just about all our customers. The bad, however, is that i'm still OTR'ized. I still haven't adjusted to sleeping in my own bed. Sounds weird to say but its true. I miss the idling of the truck putting me to sleep.

On another note, if you stay at Lonestar for that year to earn vacation and quit you get all your vacation pay the next paycheck. I'm getting all 2 weeks pay this monday. Kinda good cuz my check sucked this week thanks to mid day rack trainings only 1-3 hours long per day last week.
