I sent you a PM of the guys doing the deletes in aussie that I worked with directly that does road train trucks. They are having very good success with them using my doc and turbo mapping for the higher RPM's/torque that road train trucks use.

This is definitely an expensive learning experience. I knew something was wrong as soon as I had the tune done because of how much boost I was running at cruise speeds/power, but pdi's solution was of course their high dollar turbo conversion. I thought they just needed to remap the vgt to work better with their tune, but the customer isn't nearly as smart as they think they are. Now I don't know what to do, as I have a big red boat anchor under the hood. I'm back to my T2000 with a C12, which by the way runs nearly as good as their Stage 1 super ISX with far superior economy. I only put maybe 5000 miles after their tune on this motor before it ventilated. Shoot!

Just blocked the cooler off and changed the intake manifold, with a block. Nothing with the oil cooler.

Looks like if the turbo conversion was needed to keep it from venting pdi wouldn't sell the delete kit without it. I would say they know they have a problem but are afraid to voice it as they may have to buy a few boat anchors I don't know how that would work I'm just an old hillbilly lol. After reading whats been posted I can see a connection between the delete kit and the hole looks like they could too, goes to show you what the world has come to all they care about is money even at the expense of putting there customer out of business possibly if nothing else they should pull the product till its fixed not make a working man thier guinea pig IMO.
ISXunlike Thanks this. -
I and another tried to help them early on in adesssing this but they essentially spit in our faces. I did not resort to warning others about their problems until I had solid evidence and was rejected by them to boot.ISXunlike Thanks this.

a buddy had a 2010 break block in half after pdi delete but to be fair he drove it hard IMO stage 2 turbo thing was a animal he replaced with a used engine and reinstalled delete then sold truck .next owner has 8 months problem free but hes a good driver pretty decent on fuel pulling heavy but gets toasty on egt's . i think rawze solutions make more sense
Rawze Thanks this. -
I just wish I had seen some of this info before I did it. I did some research around on this forum and others, but saw mostly positive stuff about PDI. Could be coincidence, but it makes me wonder now. Live and learn, I guess.

I got a c12 pdi and its just fine.

The C12 is not an ISX like they are talking about.
