I am mentally prepared for taking what ever is thrown at me during my first years of this industry. Im young, no wife/gf, kids, no house ( living at home ATM ), no debt so I got a lot going for me atm to starting a career, but I still will take everyones opinions and info into consideration!
Question :
I do have another question, I cant start the process of training then going out of state/ tag along with a trainer for about 2-3 weeks due to doctors appointments. I feel as if im going to miss a opportunity because I found out about this job through worksource (online ). Am I going to miss out or do I have all the time in the world to apply with Central refrigerated and get my career going? Im asking this here because I have already swamped the recruiter with enough questions lately!
Got a email from a recruiter! Questions! Thank you!

Companies like Central are always hiring. The turnover rate in the industry is at about 120% I believe so they can never keep drivers.

yes you have plenty of time. if you are going to the doctor every week. then i would wait until the illness is under control. and you don't have to go to the doctor all the time. it is fairly hard for trucking companies to get you home every week. or by a certain time in the week. the next time you go to the doctor. see if he is certified by the d.o.t to give physicals to drivers. and speak with the doctor about it. the doctor will be able to help you more with understand if will be able to pass the d.o.t. physical or not. from what i understand. it sounds like your situation is serous.

$700-$800 a week? Wow... Pass. I'm sorry there are much better options out there, even with out experience. If your within 100 miles of Liverpool, NY - Williamsport, MD- Vidalia, GA, MT. Sterling, IL- Ardmore, OK- Burley, ID or Modesto, CA take a look at DOT Foods. If you have a clean driving/ criminal/ and good work record they often hire right out of tractor school. Excellent benefits and excellent company if your not afraid of a little hard work. Plus way more home time usually every other night and 34hr reset on weekends. Good luck with the search!
