The trucks get used and abused. Most Swift drivers have less than one year experience. The trucks have several different drivers, as the high turnover rate.

That's why the trucks get all dinged and dented.

You could say the same about any of the trainer company fleets.

I see a lot of Swift Volvos and Freightliners running around Denver. I was surprised to see a few Cascadias as company trucks. I thought those were an O/O option. The Cascadias look nice.

That happens with most companies that are really big and hire new drivers that leave after a couple months. The equipment gets tore up quickly due to inexperienced drivers and I don't know what I'd be more afraid of the trucks or their trailers. But it doesn't matter swift Werner CRE CCC they all have some junk and some decent looking trucks. Keep in mind some smaller companies have junk equipment as well.

What about May Trucking? Their equipment looks like it's in good shape. I don't see them with as many rusted-out rattletrap trailers, either. Werner and Central Transport trucks look the most chewed-up.

I think you need to look for more Swift trucks. Many are pretty new and un-abused.
    I have a 2013 Volvo.
And while it is a bit dirty, it is does not look anywhere close to worn out.

Many are 4-5 years old, and they can look a bit shabby after that many years and half a million miles.

In 2011 I started right out of school, Swift gave me a 2008 Volvo 630. Was a good truck had about 230 thousand miles on it when I got it… Had brand new ac and all new tries and cabin filters., Was a clean truck and I drove it for about 8 months and only had it in the shop once, Made an impression on me since that is the type of CMV I prefer to drive now. A clean good working, light weight semi.:Transportation cost

Also my truck had, Pre pass,E-z pass,K tag and pike pass. Not sure if that is standard but it was nice being able to blow by most of the tolls and weight stations I came across.
