    Burkhart Enterprises in Knoxville has tankers & other types of trucking including OTR. Operate 35 to 40 over the road trucks powered by late model Mack power units. Trailers include end dumps, with roll tarps, Van-go covered flatbeds, standard flatbeds, pneumatic tank trailers for dry bulk material, standard van trailers & extendable flatbeds.

    Can apply online through their website; maybe you'll get a pre-hire.

    The owner at my school said TMC has been paying new CDL drivers the best.. which is flatbed.
    He's said students have come back bragging about $1400-$1600 checks a week with their percentage pay.
    That seems like a lot, anybody know how accurate that is?

    I'm opened to flat bed but others have told me is a lot to jump into all right away.

    Update:

    I've learned that flatbed companies are much much more strict in hiring students, I only have one offer from a smaller company.
    For Van I have a few choices with pre-hires but Van really isn't what I want to do.

    No final answer yet.
