Anyone know about the eobr mandates coming?

You sir act like a seasoned vet of being an O/O. I am pulling your card and calling BS. I have watched your posts for several days and well. This was the topper. I don't believe you own even 1 truck. Let alone a fleet. See mods. This is the type of stuff I am talking about. If you were A fleet owner, if you were an O/O. You would already know the answer to your question. And wouldn't have created a thread(amongst the 1000 other ones) about this topic.

 

yes they do but if the EOBR was downloaded they would be caught. You cant change the fact that the truck was in gear moving down the road. that's why they are going the EOBR route instead of the AOBR which runs off a gps signal.

 

How does this become a topper. I own a truck and know nothing about whats coming down the road cept that they trying to mandate it or it has been mandated. Most of my friends are also Owner Ops and they don't know either. got a couple of friends that are fleet owners and they know nothing so if you know why don't you share. there is a lot of misinformation out there on this and a lot of what ifs. Like what is going to happen with the old trucks? what about the solo owner operator? what about the small fleets? Are they going to be required to put in an EOBR

 

yes, everyone will be required to have an eobr. there will be exceptions made Ofcourse, but the best majority of us that get paid to haul freight will have to invest in some technology.

I am also worried about my old truck everything I have seen uses ECM interface I don't need or want a new truck. I have looked but can't locate answer.
