And Link America got bought out by Arnold on 1-1-13. Little by little, things got worse at Arnold. 50, 100, 150, 200 mile loads WITH a live load and a live unload on each end, killing 5 hrs of your 14( just to get loaded and unloaded ) and then go 100 to 200 paid miles ! The miles and paychecks were pathetic ! The miles went down and the sitting went up !

 

Also, the old Link Drivers were disappearing. I gave Arnold 7 months to get their " stuff " together after the 1-1-13 merger and the last 2 or 3 months, I saw 0 former Link Drivers . I think that all the Link Drivers left shortly after Arnold ( Ziffel ) took over ! Arnold never did get things right, still disorganized, low miles, low paychecks, and nobody cared !

 

Did you find a better company?

 

All the reviews Ive seen are old. Anyone got any good reviews for lessors that drive for them now.? I'm suppose to go to them on Monday . Have no problem being out for a month or two just need good miles(around 3000 would be goal). Live in fl going to dover for orientation. Would like to talk to anyone that drives for them now. Got another job offer for freymiller but its 3 cents a mile less.

 

Where in Florida? IMO Crete, Shaffer, and Big G are much better options for OTR. I averaged gross of $5K per month @ those 3.

 

The villages . decided to go with freymiller little less money but good miles . Heard nothing but good news. Based in OK I don't always like east coast like it seems Lessor roles. But really it was all the bad driver reviews( what they said about lessor.) Rather take a little less money per mile with better company, can make that up with more miles less headaches . Who do you drive for?
