just gonna "throw" this out there.....I'm really thinking of starting a EPES "driver only" page on Facebook! I know there's a page for "the company" and TSE but I know of "other" carriers that have this....it'd be cool if we get one going for DRIVERS ONLY...NO DISPATCH! NO DM! NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO JOIN BUT US DRIVERS! Would you guys be interested?

felt really good to be in for 2 whole days. Almost forgotten what it felt like. But sure have worked alot harder since I've been home than I do whole I'm at work. Too much stuff accumulated I haven't had time to do just getting in for 10 or 24 lately.

In a very rare move I turned down my preplan Saturday. Wanted me in Atlanta 0600 Monday and I don't reset till 0500 Monday. Just wasn't doing another week on recap especially on the short hours I would have gotten back this week. They didn't give me a hard time about it and were understanding about it once I explained I was already on recap and couldn't reset with that trip.

So, off in the morning for Lakeland for Tuesday 0630. Having the magtec sure has changed my routes and mix of trips. I think it was a good move getting in that truck.

Still gotta find an inverter though. Looked at a few this weekend but didn't really find one I thought would fit my needs. So I'm still going old school for one more week at least. No GPS, no tv, no laptop. No problem lol just hope I run and don't sit so I don't get bored.

 

Please. With all that is good and right in the world let this live load/unload cycle stop! I've had this trailer since the 18th! And I've ran all weekend. Hopefully the cycle will end today. Gotta drop in Greensboro after I load and get a c service and some misc work done. If they end up putting me back under this load I'm going to #### a brick.

 

I'm working on almost 2 1/2 weeks with only 2 drops in that whole time frame. And a live unload in the morning. Just seems to run in spells like that sometime but seems a little extreme this summer for some reason for sure.

i hope you've got a good trailer at least lol I was stuck with a beat up old 54 series for 11 days. I'm sure it limited the loads I could get because some customers won't take them. I was so glad when I was finally able to drop that one and get a 6 lol

 

53 series. With no door seals. And a bent slider arm. Been getting great usage of my vise grips though.

 

my complaint is I've been getting loads that don't pick up until 1200-1300 ON MY FIRST DAY OUT! I haven't sat on a load in forever! So what was a 34-48 turns almost into a 72! That's BS! 48 hours and then I'm literally itching to go back out and be productive! Got the fun run of Danville to Elizabeth, NJ! I might just prove a point to them and start taking 81-78 and prove I'm so sick of 95 and I NEVER get a break from it! I really AM ready for SOMEWHAT of a change! I like the extra money and all....but i'm tired of "living" on 95!

 

I can't say much. I haven't been above nc in over a week. But I normally spend a lot of time in the north east. I don't get to Elizabeth too often though.
