the food is still better at the independents, try: The Tennesean ts exit 22 I65 Cornersville Tn.
Newborn ts, exit 6 I20 in western Goergia, Jacks ts, exit 304 I65 Cullman Al, -
And Jubitiz is a victim of their own hype ... like Iowa 80, their restaurant is a neat building with crappy service and crummy food ... yeah it's better than a chain, but that's like saying dog food is better than dog ####.
As for their fuel desk/C store truck service area ... it's staffed by some of the rudest people I've come across out here. -
I can still remember when faucet down there in MO had the best food is ever eaten, when it was clean even with all the smokers, and the parking lot wasn't full of potholes. Last time I stopped there was over a year ago. Food gave me the runs, dirtier than a feedlot, and a parking lot of nothing but potholes. Sad what its become.

Yup, Good ol' America is gone and we have been long gone from good ol' fashioned hardcore values and hard work. These days its all about how many food stamps the public can get and how many more times they can watch miley cyrus twerk her anorexic ### on tv while a flood of nuclear radiation floods the western shore line from japans nuclear plant meltdown. Yea, we gonna go far. We have a great future ahead of us! *insert sarcasm with sad face*

Oh and just think. Every #### thing we eat is loaded with GMO's! So if you wonder why your stomach is messed up all the time when it never used to be, thats why. Look it up. Nothing is good for you anymore. Not even fruits and veggies.
BTJ Thanks this. -
Truck stops have gone the way of the truck driver !!!
It is hard finding either one them that are worth a flip any more .
When I do though it is a real pleasure and it takes me back to better days ! -
I always liked the ones that had a separate fuel desk, and a real restaurant. Never been comfortable stopping at the big chain owned truck stops. I usually get fuel at smaller fuel stops just a fill and go deal, I'm sure used to you got fueled parked and went in for a cup and could expect a decent conversation with somebody you didn't know I don't think it still that way.
Skunk_Truck_2590 Thanks this. -
It makes me sick every week when I drive thru Klamath Falls OR and see a Pilot where the old Mollies truckstop use to be. Alot of goodtimes in that old bar in there.
-
Seriously .. my great grandmother is buried in Klamath Falls and after staying at that T/S I gave some serious thought to digging her up and moving her to some other town.
But then again, maybe there's something about crappers with no doors that may appeal to some people.Last edited: Aug 31, 2013
