TransAm Trucking, Inc. - Olathe, Ks.?

You can bet Trans Am got compensated well for the trailer being tied up all weekend. That is a bunch of BS. Did you get any compensation?

 

That's IF Im granted lost utilization on this. I know other drivers who have had smilar situations and yo were just SOL.

Pete, in Greeley, they dont even want you to try and drop it in a hole anymore. Guess they had too many trailer damages. They have you slide your tandems and drop it right there n the middle. Just pay attention t where youre dropping so you dont block your pickup trailer in, lol.

I talked to my DM and she put in for lost utilization for me. Hope I get it since it was Walmarts screwup apparently. Im sure TransAm was well compensated for me babysitting them all weekend. Hopefully they throw me a bone too.

 

That is awful, Honeybadger! I don't know what more can be said. It has always been about these type of problems and screw ups with TransAm ....uncompensated time. When it hits you all at once it sure messes with your ability to support your family. It always infuriated me that the driver was the only one having to ask for pay, when the driver was the only one doing their job. I hope your back feels better and that they get this mess straightened up for you.

 

Pete, I don't have my little notebook handy but I think Hunt's Point is where Husband had to pay to park at receiver,(gate fee). I want to say $20. It was well worth it and there was really good Chinese food delivery service ....if it's the place I am thinking of.

Talked with Husband, he said that is the one with a gate fee ...... and the Chinese takeout wasn't bad.

 

TransAm pete good luck with the Bronx oreety tight out there i know becuase i lived out there and watch the traffic as well be oretty Patient. You will like it lol.....

 

well I delivered for 10 years to the old fulton fish market
where we unloaded right on the cobblestone street
with trucks parked everywhere at crazy angles in the middle of the night
so I aint skeered

 

Lol okay thats great just dont run over them cars that live to park on the corners out there.

He told me to tell you guys the honeymoon is over.
He's in Bunker Hill Kansas waiting for a swap.
And hopefully will have 3,000 miles this week.
I'm adjusting...it's a different way of life for sure.
