Hi Everyone,
I'm a wannabe transport driver that has worked in a corporate office environment for the past 15 years. I now plan on fulfilling a life long dream of being a trucker.
I'm currently preparing for the Canadian Professional Driver Knowledge test.... keep you posted.
For now,

Wish you the best of luck, kinda in the same boat myself (switching careers). I graduated college last year and realized water treatment is not for me. I can't take the windowless control room environment and when things go wrong it is horribly stressful and when they go right its horribly boring. I am new on this forum too and there are plenty of people on here who are friendly and willing to help you out with any questions you have and give you advice and insight so don't be too shy.

Research this career choice very well before making any decisions. Be sure you understand what it is you'd be getting into. Learn the pros and cons. This is not to discourage you, but the simple fact is that this career is not for everyone, and many don't make it past the first year. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
