Here is the load from Rocky Mountain NC to Smyrna DE all miles including dead head 438 full load and has to be picked up in couple of ours by noon and delivery confirmed to be tomorrow evening appointment (Walmart load) Kai wants to pay $800 and that is the best. Who is running for Schneider that cheap??
NC market is still running better than many others at 22563 total posts for the week with 1349 posts for today with a truck to load ratio of 2.41 loads/truck
Yusen Logistics is not any better either
Richmond VA to Toledo OH for $900 on a total run of miles approx 650 with full load. WTF profit??
Schneider wants you to work for free

Guess you aren't hauling dry van and get quotes of 86 cents per mile. Now that's a way to put yourself out of business real fast
-
im leased on to Schneider and i pulled up the load board and that load isnt even on here so now i see Schneider holding back some freight lol
-
Each agent has their favored drivers and many times loads are saved for them. That's with every brokerage.
-
Schneider has independent agents?
-
Every Last one of them "Trucking companies". They work based on how many suckers they can trick from a load board. It Doesn't cost much to get your self a fictitious business name Like Big Bad Billy Bob Trucking Flunky and Build a $5 Website & You have what it takes to start a brokerage firm out of your Garage. And All you have to do is steel loads from other carriers and sell them to people that Gota Have it kind of operator for $50 bucks some of these wana be's steel up to $1500/Load. That is why you see some of them on this board sniffing around.I would be a broker too But I hate the idea of Licking NUTS.

I'm leased on with sni as well...get a little further south..rates are a lot better....we don't deal with agents...fyi
-
Yeah with SNI it's the big orange Borg. The rate is what it is driver take it or leave it. If you call on their brokered loads they act the same way. But it's funny how in a bind they are no different than any other brokerage. They called a buddy of mine up several months ago and he made them "market correct" way upwards on several very lucrative runs hahaha!! You never get that opportunity in the choice program.
-
They don't have independent agents, but we were told by an agent that loads aren't posted on their loadboard because they save them for driver's they use frequently.
