Does anybody no the symptoms of an air to air going out? The truck acts like its sucking air for a few seconds then sgoes away. I dont think its the turbo.

Usually, though not always, you will hear a high pitched whistling sound coming from a bad CAC that's leaking..... best way to check one is to have a quality shop pressure test it. (quality shop, not the TA) Take it to the engine dealer, one who you trust.....

My past experience........a truck with more than 800,000 miles or more will likely have a leaking air to air......that is if you still have the factory one. All of my trucks over 600,000 I have had to replace the factory air to air.

Your pyro temps will go up if leaking fairly bad, also low turbo boost on your gadge

Low boost pressure, bad fuel economy. As was said above....have it tested.

If your problem is on acceleration it could be sucking air as previously stated. However it could also be getting air into the fuel system via the injectors. This is as well engine dependent. You can put your return line into a five gallon bucket and see if there is a lot of air in the return. Sometimes the return lines will collapse due to heat and age and cause air to stay in the fuel rails and be cycled in through the injectors.
