He was very nice.I told him if he had heard of any of my horror stories, that they are something of an exception. My husband didnt have nearly as many problems as I have had.

Pretty bad, but could have been worse. I was at a training session an hour from home. The worst thing was I was there as a volunteer! I don't even know how to describe what I did, LOL. I broke bones...and when they broke they twisted and chipped. I picked myself up, stopped and bought groceries on the way home because I knew I wasn't going to be able to drive for awhile and the next morning I had a friend take me to the ER. I walked in and because I was walking they didn't think it was that bad .....they actually had me walk down to x-ray. Then they took a look at the x-rays and said get a wheelchair in here! Three weeks of being wheeled around, 18 weeks on crutches.
I am a certified MMA judge and instructor in self defense. The organization that I worked for trained some hospital security and police departments. It was not a pleasant time, but we figured it out. It was so hard on my family ....it changed the way I looked at what I did. It was a high risk situation, I am definitely no spring chicken, and I wasn't the only one that paid the price for me being hurt. It made me reevaluate what I was doing every day.
The really bad thing about it all was that I took out the target .... and then I screwed up, lost my focus, landed wrong, rolled wrong....I couldn't even claim that someone else beat me because I beat myself, it didn't do much for my ego!

well I have one tagalong fly from Greeley I am going to hurt
load was finally ready at 5pm
but seals didn't match paperwork
so that took another hour
drove to big springs ne 1625 to the bronk -
I am 6000 miles overdue for my PM, truck needs an alignment and now one of my drive axle inner hub seals has sprung a leak. Im tired of getting the runaround about getting truck serviced so now Im playing the OoS card and not movng til the direct me in for service. Ended up with a whopping 750 miles this week. No, thats not a typo. If I ran with the load that I just got in swap number two and ran next weeks preplan, I will end up with 1500 miles next week. I dont think so. I think its time to go have a heart to heart with some people instead.

Hi Badboy, you sound a little discouraged .....are you ok?
-
Everything does come with time ...you will develop your own routines. Even then you will have days that it just doesn't work without twice the effort....or three or four times the effort!
oliver2 Thanks this. -
Don't be too hard on yourself, my friend. I know you are going to be a good driver .....you care enough to give it your all and to learn as much as you can. A good driver is ALWAYS on a learning curve.
oliver2 Thanks this.
