Good afternoon drivers,
I am 23 years old and looking to get back in the seat. I drove for a short stint in 2011 for three months i enjoyed every bit of it but had a family emergency and had to get off the road. I would like to buy a tractor down the road (5 year plan) but looking for a decent oufit right now. Does anyone know of a decent company that will hire me with out having to take a refresher course i live in South Carolina? Thank you for your time drive safe.

At only three months experience from two years ago I don't know of any company that isn't going to require you taking a refresher course. You're basically starting all over again since three months barely covers the training/probationary period for new drivers at many companies.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Maverick will probably hire you. Any other company will require some formal training or refresher. Paschall Truck Lines might give you a chance & their refresher is free if you stay 12 months; trucks have APU's and they also have a lease to own program.
Paschall is dry van.
Maverick is flatbed & reefer.900,000-tons-of-steel Thanks this. -
Thank y'all for all the help. I will be contacting them companies tomorrow. Is Maverick's reefer division pretty good with miles?
