Schreiber in Gainesville GA. I wished more shippers and receivers had the same attitude towards drivers as these people do. If you ever go to any Schreiber "DO NOT TOUCH THAT SEAL WHATEVER YOU DO!" Anyways I arrived at 0445 for a 0630 appt. Checked in, verified reefer temp. Backed to a dock, they came out broke the seal and opened the doors and told me to back up. A few mins later, they put a lock on my red airline. 0545 am knocked on my door, put my red line back on and gave me my bills and said have a great day with a smile

Odd. Every time I've been there they told me if I wanted to disconnect and go grab food somewhere I could, since it was "going to be a while."
I've only ever loaded there though. -
I enjoy all the Budweiser breweries. For 1 reason only. They provide a load line so you can call in and find out if and when your load is going to be ready. This saves me many wasted hours sitting and waiting.
RangerMelB and KingCocoaBean Thank this. -
Best shipper ever in Montreal area is called Henry products.
You get there you dont ask for a door you back into whatever door you see available...30 minutes later youre loaded and ready to go with papers in your hand! definetely i will buy their roofing products.

Blue buffalo in omaha, NE has an excellent system! I showed up there 10 mins to my appt time and they have you call in to their desk to find out which door to go to, within five minutes i was docked and no sooner than i shut off my truck they started loading me. 20 mins later and 20 pallets later i had pulled out of the dock and parked at the waiting area which i then walked inside grabbed my paperwork and seal, closed, sealed and lock my doors and was on the road...the whole thing took about 45 mins to do i was extrememly impressed.

The BEST Delivery.....Is the 'personal' delivery.
You folks wont understand that are new to trucking.
The Best Deliveries are the 6-7am SMALL older brick buildings with 1 or 2 docks ONLY!!
Usually inner city, near downtown..Older 1 story brick building.....ALSO,A small challenge to back into the dock. Trust Me, You are treated Waaaay better than any 100 dock logistical warehouse anywhere
Then again..I prefer 45'-48' trailers with roll-ups..Or barn doors.... I still drive 55mph (was the speed limit in most states). And most importantly..I never Hurry for anyone,Do not use a GPS jor any other electronics but a CB and a Cell phone. (I hate Cell phones while im driving).....
i choose the older neighborhood deliveries because you are respected as a person and an asset to their business.(They NEED you) -
One of the best receivers I had ever delivered to was a tiny heating and air conditioning supply store in Casper, WY. "Please help yourself to coffee, we will be done shortly"

Costco the best out here!

I always like the small business deliveries, the little main street businesses or out of the way alley docks that were built when trucks weren't so big. Those are the best.
