trucking companies

First, you need to find out if the company that you're planning on going to will accept your school. Try to go to the school that is recognised by the most trucking companies.

 

thats what im boin now ...waiting on calls from one of them now ...they said 3 days ...its day 3 so .still waiting

 

Trucking will be,and always has been a job that you get what you put into it.Trucking companies are very skeptical of people nowadays.These big fortune 500 companies could care less about you,hiring a student is a huge tax deduction for them.I have worked for a few companies in my past,but I shy away from big companies,I am now with a company that is small and more like a family business.The smaller companies have to work harder and hustle more to get freight because of the competition.I am not a number where I work,and that's the way I prefer it.When it comes to training,these big companies take you on,use you up,treat you like garbage and don't care if you leave.There are 20 more following behind you for orientation the following Monday...Find a smaller company that will train you,you will be better off..

i have never seen any trucking company that wouldn't screw you if you let your guard down. Understand what that means or you will get stuck faster than Andy on Shawshank.

Go with a good flatbed company.

 

trailliner hasnt got back with me on there school ..may be cause of holliday i dont know but im have a hack of a time getin cdl training ........
