Dot reg question about hoses on strapped on the deck?

He's right, you can carry a hose on the deck but bungees are out..... unsecured load. Got to be straps....2 will do. Same anywhere else except hose tubes.

 

The $10 or $15 for a pair of straps at Walmart will do fine for light duty work.

 

I would run 2 2" straps. Besure to go over one side and under the other then do the same from the otherside over then under. I've tried doing such with a tire and rim and no matter how tight I crancked the strap it would still tend to work loose and slide out so I ran 2 4" straps over each side, through the center of the rim and out on the underside which made sure it wouldn't be able to slide side to side either. Small things like that tend to work their way free.
