    Interested in purchasing a trucking LLC/Corp with DOT, MC, etc., numbers. Not interested in the business itself (i.e., trucks, land, offices, or client base). Just interested in LLC or Corp with clean history and with DOT, MC, etc., numbers in good standing for at least 2 years.

    It depends on the age of the company, the types of authorities and permits it has, cleanliness of its record, activity of its record (actual company vs. shelf or mostly inactive company), and many other parameters.

    Prefer at least 2 years of actual transportation, with clean record, DOT/MC/IFTA/etc. authorities/numbers. If have DUNS number or greater length - a plus. Prefer a C-Corp over an LLC/S-Corp, but either one are possible. Prefer Delaware/Florida/Nevada/Kentucky/New Mexico corporations, but others possible. If company has some assets - that's a small plus. If there are accounts with large brokers and dispatch services - a plus.
