Yup my hubby just told me that hoovestol bought eagle. They might not run teams anymore and that means small paycheck... So will he start looking or stay?
-
The letter the employees got said it was a merger, not a buy out.
-
That may be for legal and tax reasons but it's pretty clear who's in charge and it's not the Pals family.
-
is this company pay for a layover and how?
-
Postal contractors generally don't pay for layovers.

I was told at the home office that Wayne Hoovestol owns 51% of the company now and is calling the shots. I was also told that 200 new trucks are on order and he is going to remove any truck that is over 4 years old from the fleet. Things are suppose to get better, only time will tell.
-
Yep and Wayne has the money to do it!!

First I apologize for not answering when I promised. I have been having computer issues.
So, most of the questions have been answered I see. I guess all I can add is the this-- I heard that Hoovestol won`t keep tucks over million miles. There are quite a few Eagle trucks over that threshold.
There will be no teams. The only exception being an emergency extra trip needed by the Post Office. The teams in Indy have already been told. The two companies will remain seperated due to the postal contracts. Lots of changes happening, just rolling with each one for now. -
Eagle has always paid layover as far as I know. I haven`t been laid over since being back with them, but last year it was 8 hrs pay each 24 laid over. I did get 12 hrs paid for 36 laid over once. maybe it has changed?
