I've been asking around , I am trying to get an estimate of about how much drivers on the dedicated dairy land route can expect to make weekly..I am looking to make at least $500/week after taxes, I'm just trying to figure out if this is possible with this route, for a new driver and if not what option would be recommended ?

    Thank you

Roehl Recruiting would know how much they will pay a new driver. What did they tell you?

I worked for Roehl and always recommend them to new drivers but the one thing I always tell them is to stay away from there dedicated accounts. They have a tendency to lose those accounts do to poor planning, or they put to many drivers on one account and next thing you know your getting 1200 miles a week.

Dairyland is not dedicated, but I get what your saying. I'm intermodal and its been good so far, also not dedicated, though do go to and from same customers often.

recruiter says about $800/week...The thing that throws me off is how people on the forum often say the recruiter will make the miles and money sound better than it actually may be.I Thats why I was hoping to get input from someone who may have driven for that particular account. They sound like a great company otherwise and i like that they get such positive input from many other drivers.

Just do regional van, if you get a good dispatcher and you can trip plan well you should make 800 a week easy.

Dairyland says dedicated on the Roehl website. I'm thinking the reefer 14 on 7 of sounds like it may be a better option. if I will actually make the "average weekly pay" it states on the website, that would be enough to cover bills and the week im home.

I'm here in Appleton tonight. I start orientation tomorrow with drug test and physical. I signed up for Dairyland Dedicated which I was told was northern Illinois, all of Wisconsin and eastern Mn. We'll see...

Take home?? If I could take home 800 a week I'd do regional in a heartbeat. You have to be talking gross.
