Anybody know if there is much freight that runs through Virginia? Specifically near Richmond. Thanks

That's good. I live maybe 20 miles from there. I guess the recruiter I talked to was a ligtle confused where I lived. Any idea if they hire students for their school from VA?

I move freight out of Richmond as I live very close to it. Freight out of Richmond moves fast and cheep, that's because of I95 ans I64. Its kind of hard sometimes to find brokered loads out of there. But there is always steel out of Petersburg, wood out of Chester, and mulch off of 460

What is your home like? I talked to a recruiter and she said I would have to attend the cdl school because I have no otr experience. I believe she said school was three weeks???.

Youd have to attend a Millis Traing Institute i went to the one in Trenton OH but we have one in GA closer. School is 3 weeks+3 days of orientation cost is 100 to reserve a spot in class $400 cash due first day of class..15000 miles with a trainer required before going solo. I choose to stay out extended periods of time. Millis will get you home every other weekend if thats what you want. But i prefer a couple months out at a time.

    Skydivedavec and elroy33 Thank this.
