It's been a long time since I logged in.. Just wondering if you fellas can help.
We're using Teletrac systems in our trucks, they've been ok. we don't have much to complain about. Although we're trying to find other alternatives because they want to increase their pricing and charge over $1200 for the equipment upfront. my question is, what do you use for tracking your trucks and/or trailers? how much do you pay a month? was there any equipment purchasing required?
Thank you

I know Qualcomm just sold this part of their business, but Omnitracks is still a very widely used system. You'd have to inquire with Omnitracks about pricing though. Hope this helps a little.

I use track what matters no up front cost they will usually wave the equipment cost if you sign a two year contract and it is about $20.00 per month per unit. They can be installed in about 30 minutes. But it is only a tracking system.

Not bad! do you have a link or phone #?

Ya I heard about the sale of Omnitracks. I inquired with them earlier today so I'm waiting for their sales guys to call.

Just go to TrackWhatMatters , simple enuf.JPenn, carwreck and BigBadBill Thank this.

Omnitacs MCP50 is $799 up front and monthly plans vary between $25-45 based on features.

Carwreck, not sure where you heard this from but it can't be true. We wouldn't change your service to charge $1200 for equipment. We're the only telematics company that I know of that will bundle all of our hardware including a driver tablet into SaaS pricing with no up-front costs. Please send me an email at mjarvinen@teletrac.com and I'll make sure to get everything straightened out for you!bullhaulerswife Thanks this.
