Any one knows a good company offer Tanker Training?

The issue is, you haven't driven in 3 years. It's almost like starting over with the rules as they are these days. Prime trains new drivers & has a tanker division, but don't know if they hire tanker drivers out of California. Schneider also has tanker training, but don't know if California is in the tanker hiring area. So check those two.

Otherwise, think about Swift's refresher course, then start looking at Careerbuilder website and Indeed website for jobs.

 

I know that Schneider does not hire tanker drivers out of California! I moved from there to Houston because I couldn't find any company incl Schneider to train me in tankers.

 

Houston is excellent tanker country; plus, Texas has no personal income tax.

 

You are correct, Chinatown! I moved here May 20th and since then have been jumping through hoops to get hired on for training with Superior Carriers. Some of the slow down was getting my Haz endorsed license back and getting my Passport. The State Dept mailed a letter stating that me just supplying my birth certificate (as the post office required and said was sufficient) wasn't sufficient. I had to provide no less than 5 forms of ID that were no less than 5 years old or older! This included things like my picture from a high school year book (from over 30 years ago)! I had to take a trip to Denver to my parent's home where these types of docs are kept, just to fulfill the State Dept's requirement. Before I took that 1000 mile trip, I went back to the Post Office and showed them the letter from the State Dept. The lady said she'd never heard of such a thing!! Anyway, I received the passport finally. Superior required me to take a 160 hour Refresher and to finish at the top of my class, which I completed last week! Today, I went into the Terminal and they gathered my paperwork from school, copies of my birth cert, driver's license with X endorsement, passport, and soc sec card. I signed off on them doing a back ground check on me. I'm getting close! As long as they don't find out about that bank job from years ago...!

Trimac hires out of California, takes people with no tank experience, and hires from certain driving schools. Give them a call they may just require a refresher at one of their approved schools.
