My new adventure with Gordon Trucking

Close one today.. pulling a light load thru so Dakota and Montana. . Qc says 671 miles 10hrs 53 min.. haha... got lucky and got a parking spot in the rest area with 7 minutes left.... btw.. if you haven't figured out by now some trucks go faster than others...

 

I'm governed at 60. 63 seems so fast it would make breathing hard.

 

That's the strange part isn't it? You would think the on/off clank all night would disturb sleep but you get used to it and it becomes "normal."

 

1. If you knew then what what you know now, would you do it again?
2. Would you recommend it to your kid brother? Or older sister, even.

 

I find that driving slower is less stressful. You are not jammed up with the packs running 67 and i am amazed at how many times a day the same trucks keep passing me and then park beside me at the truck stop when i take my break.

 

Hey Rasec did you finish orientation ?

 

And the #4 lane belongs to me. Everyone else "needs" to be in the "fast" lane, but we all pretty much arrive at the same place at the same time. And I bet I get better mileage -and fewer stops - than them.

 

Boy.. it sure has been quiet around here lately. ..
