Don't forget the free postage; just write "Free" where the stamp went. Those discounted, expired MPC notes that could be spent if someone wasn't paying attention. I bought an armload of those in Singapore & finally got rid of them, resold some of them. Wonder how those MPC's wound up in Singapore! Whew, what a life.Last edited: Sep 12, 2013

Too many variables to the answer on salary & pay.
Seems the best paychecks for new cdl drivers recently are from:
Schneider or SVTN or CTL (tanker/hazmat))
Millis (dry van)
Maverick or Melton Truck Lines or System Transport(flatbed)
Holland Enterprises (refrigerated) -
My first year I worked in the agriculture field and made 49K. That was in 1996.

$27,600 my first year in 2008. Could have been better but it could have been a whole lot worse!

a few dollars shy of $46,000 my first year pulling a flatbed in 2012.

I started in 2003, I ran about 9 months and made about 40-45 I think. 2004 was my first full year, 55,000 or more. That was running team turning about 5800 miles per week average and home about 48 weekends.

Sad part is that the $14K I made in 1970 went a lot further than $40K does today. I was paying $160 per month in rent living in a nice new place. As a friend of mine says, you don't make anymore money today you just handle more
