Hi all, been awhile since I've been on here. Just want to tell all of you new drivers to be careful. I spent 5+ years with Roehl 10+ total in a truck. Most of my time was spent on a flatbed, and now I am paying the price. I am only 44 years old, and my back is shot. I don't mean it hurts after some hard word, I mean I am facing the reality of my spinal column being fused from top to bottom. Now granted it isn't all the fault of trucking, I am a big guy, so I bear some responsibility too, but I just want you to all be careful. There are reasons they tell you to not jump off trailers, and don't try to lift that lumber tarp up to the trailer by yourself. It hurts you. Even how you hold the steering wheel is important, I have carpal tunnel in my left hand (I am right handed) from holding the wheel with one hand all the time in a bad position. I can't drive truck anymore, I'm not sure how much longer I will even be able to drive my car. So please, be careful, think about what you are doing, and how it might effect you 5, 10 or 20 years from now. So my rant is done, I miss you all out there, so keep the dirty side down, and may God himself guide you in all your travels!

had wondered what you've been up to these days PA... I hope you find something to keep yourself busy and are able to work through these issues! I know you know God doesn't give us more than we can handle. Take care!
