We are doing as well as can be expected. Daddy's Service was yesterday. Hubby has to talk to DM about getting back to work. He told them the earliest he would return is Tuesday.

Life is good. Got 3042 miles in last week and got home. A little bit of a farther deadhead than I would have preferred, but I'll live. Just gotta bust my butt this week to crank out some miles and make up for it. Finally got what I needed and am back on track financially. Unloaded at Publix in Lakeland Friday morning in record time and ran home. My little guy turned one today and we had a nice get-together. Tomorrow is a fairly dull day. My 3 year old is insisting we wash my truck tomorrow because a week ago I told him I would give him $2 to wash my wheels, LOL. Gotta love kids. Got a load already, picking up Monday evening in Red Bay and going to MS and then Odessa, TX. Love how my DM keeps me running through my favorite places! Kinda glad I'm on HT right now though with all that flooding mess going on in Colorado. Gonna be sad to leave Monday morning. Taking 2 days HT in October and then I will run until after the holidays. How's everyone else doing? Man. got my truck washed on the yard Monday but you can't even tell. It appears that half the population of Florida's love bugs are now smeared across the front of my truck. Ugh

OH. Forgot to share my excitement of the day. I kid you not, I am a magnet for idiot drivers, even if I am driving as careful as possible. They find me as easily as a fly finds a dead cow. I was heading to the mall to get my nails done this afternoon. Hubby stayed at the house and I took the spare car. I turned in off the main road and then waited at the stop sign as a white car went passed and then made a left turn, turning in behind the white car. White car stops at the next stop sign and as I was pulling up and coming to a stop behind him, he puts his car in reverse and guns it. I didn't have time to put it in reverse and back up too because I've only driven this car twice. It's unfamiliar and I'm not comfortable driving it. I CAN, but I don't like driving anything that isn't my truck anymore. But yeah, dude in front of my starts flying backwards right at me and I layed on the horn. The idiot stopped just inches short of an impact and then proceeds to cuss me out like it's my fault while he turns around. I was about to throw it in park and get out of the car and turn into a physical confrontation, but he hauled but out of there. I swear, people are idiots! I called hubby and told him what happened and he thought it was hilarious. I didn't. I really didn't want to have to explain an accident to anyone. Plus that's the car that hubby drives to work every day. Granted I just bought the parts this evening to get our own car in working order, but still. I hate being an idiot magnet. You can imagine how much fun I have in the truck..... Hubby used to think it was me and the way I drive, until he was driving behind me one day and saw three different situations which could have ended badly by the time we got to the house. And he admitted that I really am just a magnet for idiots.

and again in the spring is that about right?
