That's how I did it as a dispatcher. I didn't need safety to tell me how to do my job, you can't run legal then you can't run for me. If your logs we're false for the previous 7 days (didn't match your positioning) I'd make you do a restart.
roehl is the worst company i have worked for

In some ways I miss the old days of "just make it look good on paper". In other ways I'm glad I don't have to work/live like that to make a buck.

It all depends on if your company wants to take advantage. It's a good thing when the driver is in control of it and uses when they need to, because they feel rested and want to push it a bit. But it's a bad thing when the company is in control of it and use it because they put loads on people late and expect the drivers to run tired to save them from late delivery fines.dude6710 Thanks this.

No way! I screwed up and did a nine-hour break once. got yelled at for it, three months later. pesky E-logs!

Lol roehl is a stickler for safety. Just say your too tired to run at that time and its unsafe. They can't do nothing about a safety issue.
-
wernt you a dispatcher for roehl?
-
Roehl has always given me a lot of self management discretion...gotta sleep if u know your gonna run nights. I'm usually beat enuf after driving my shift that I can easily go to sleep. up 28hrs doesnt make sense.
