can anyone tell me if it's important to take lessons on manual transmission truck?
is that true that most of the companies in the west have only manual transmission?

    thanks.

Yes you want to learn on a manual. You'll look like a fool if you applied for a job and couldn't even shift the truck.

Any school that teaches you to drive an "auto shift" transmission is doing no favor @ all.

I can't imagine anyone getting hired without being competent in shifting...

Why bother wasting your time getting training on a 10 speed? Spend all your training on a 13 or 18 spd and then it will be easier for you. A 10 speed is pretty well the same as a 9, and a 13/18 except you dont have a splitter...unless its a super 10...
