After having a several mechanics work on my truck, none of them seem to have any idea with my problem. So I started working on the truck myself. So I started with the filter, than I replaced the wiring harness. So any ideas in what to do I will do my best to figure out to with anyone's help.

Fixed my rough idle problem, now I need to fix regen problem.
fooomanchu Thanks this. -
How did you fix the rough idle problem? Also...did it idle rough all the time or just under certain conditions?
-
Under certain conditions, just before the yellow regen light comes it would have a bad idle, the only way to fix it was to run the regen. Replaced egr valve fix my problem, now I have to fix my regen problem.

Thanks - I was just curious. I have an idle problem that was NOT resolved by new egr valve....

2009 Volvo with 525hp Cummins. Regen, when first purchased, was doing it's thing every couple of days and then Cummins called it in and updated the ECM software and now it Regens about once a week. See if Detroit has any service bulletins on your yr model engine concerning the ECM, DPF, etc. Its usually free if its not been done already.
Heavyd Thanks this. -

It's been a over a year now and still haven't fixed regen problem. Truck still needs a regen every other day. Replace 6 injectors, doser injector, egr, wire harness to injectors, cleaned doc and Dpf, doser block, turbo, temp and pressure sensor on Dpf and doc and still have the same problem. Should I replace Dpf and doc.
