Tama Mai Hawaii Nei Thanks this. -
I wouldn't get your hopes up too far.
Tama Mai Hawaii Nei, luvtotruck and Roadmedic Thank this. -
What we really need is a way to stop our HOS clock.
poppapump1332 Thanks this. -
Try this one on for size. Company edits my HOS clock to force me down the road. Also, am expected to drive 7 days a week for as long as I am out. I have been entirely otr my time out here in this "industry". If its illegal of me to cook my books if on paper logs then why t.f. is it not an illegal move for a company to cook my books on elogs?.

I think something might be done plus truckers are planning a strike in Washington D.C next month. This site talks about a 3 day strike so I am praying it wakens people up

You know there was another company doing this and went as far as issueing drivers a new drivers code to keep them rolling. I can't remember the company but it was like a mega carrier I think

Before you could it was 11 hrs drive time in 24 and 16 hrs in 24. So If I drove say 3 hrs sat at the docks 4 I could still drive my 7 and if I logged it off duty and I would still have 16 hrs or what I had left to work. But this was years ago. It was handy during rush hour I could park then continue with the hours I had left.

Would 3 days really be enough to make a difference? -
Or how about a boycott of D.C. for a week.
