Are there any training companies that would work with a (misdemeanor) Domestic Violence charge from 2010?

Anyone here able to get trained with a recent DV charge?

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

    Maybe Swift.

    Willis Shaw Express

    JBS Carriers

    CR England

Best advice, do their online application, don't withhold information, and wait.

If you can afford a community college or private CDL school, there are plenty of companies that will hire you.

Remember, some companies bend their own rules at times...APPLY!!!!

Stay away from CR England unless you go as a company driver only.

Take Chinatown's advice....But remember it may be an uphill fight. Potential employers will look at your history and may think you are not a good potential driver for a couple reasons. Mainly because trucking can/will be a really stressful job at times...you'll be expected to have the ability to remain calm in all types of situations. AND....they will happen...customers/dock-workers/lumpers , all can really get under your skin quickly in this business , and since you already have a charge against you for loosing control/loosing your temper..they may pause , and think they don't want a lawsuit on their hands if you do it while in their employ. Not saying that you would , just that you already have a past of doing that. I'm just being up-front and honest about this ...not judging your actions in the past. You asked for advice ..this is mine.

Most rejection is from felonies or major traffic violations.

It's a high stress job that takes a calm demeanor. You can't have anger issues in a 80,000 lb vehicle.

Yup. Uphill battle. Maybe next time you'll learn to control your anger and not hit your significant other.
