been getting calls from them, and i'm thinking @ making a change. few drivers i've talked to seem happy with'em. 2500 +/- a week. elogs. trucks set @ 69. no apu but idling is ok. .37 a mile. running area seems to be midwest/southwest. they just got merged into Epes, so been reading through that thread.

just curious if anybody has any other info.

    mucho appreciated.

yep say hello to the northeast hehehehe but for the most part you'll be running sw/midwest

i'm with epes....done a few trips on their side of the river and the guys out there I talked to weren't real happy with running on our side but starting to see more and more of them over here and we're staring to make runs out that way too......

epes has owned them for awhile now but ran them as an entirely separate entity until just recently when they made the move to make us all one big happy family.

you'll most likely spend most of your time on that side of the river but don't be surprised when you get to go to jersey or points north. it'll happen at some point.

still, the guys I talked to out there were pretty happy with their gig with TSE.....and for the most part we're pretty happy here as well so if the same corporate culture continues it won't be a bad gig.....but, it's good you're reading the epes thread as well because we're starting to see changes afoot and not sure they're good ones compared to what we've been used to. but, as with everything in this industry you have to be flexible and adapt.

when it all gets sorted out and things stabilized down the road a year or so pretty sure we'll be running into each other all over the place as the operating areas get integrated together now that the equipment sure is lol

TSE coming under the Epes flag will not hurt any one on their side. But expect the truck speed to come in line with us (63). Worked three and 1/2 days last week and turned 2200 miles ( I push hard) . Miles are there. Pm any questions, been on the Epes side for 9 years.

I have read most of the Epes thread and enjoyed the time in Flying and Sdaniel's trips. I am looking for a place to start a career hopefully. I should graduate from CDL school in December. Epes has been one of my most interesting prospects, but I want to know what drivers think, not recruiters. Can I clear $600 a week? Is hunting for decent empty trailers the regular or just an occasional aggravation? Can Epes be my first and last job in this industry? Any info would be great! BTW- currently live in Thomasville, NC and work in High Point. Terminal is not far away.
