Gotcha. Good luck in orientation next week. I think you will like it here, Sunoco seems to be a great company. A word of advice......keep copies of everything you give to them and get copies of everything you sign, they are hiring drivers at a rapid pace while the admin side is still the same size! Things can and may get lost in the shuffle, just have copies and you will have no worries. The girls in the office are great, but have a massive workload. Be extra nice to them, they handle your payroll!!

Sunoco seems to be still hiring a bunch of drivers in Robert Lee and San Angelo areas. What chances would a driver with experience have to get a day job out of that area ?

Right now I would say there is still a decent chance of getting days. However before to long it would probably be nights until we add more trucks. We are currently hiring aggressively so I wouldn't wait to long to apply if someone was interested. There is no night shift differential at Sunoco.

Worked for Sun a couple of years and everything these guys said is true. Right down to the extreme physical check. Good company. They do have some junk equipment(spares), and everybody gets one now and again. But, there is no 2400 buck bonus. All we have ever seen is 400 quarterly. If you are interested in working for them . put in your app. stay after them, knock on the door and get face to face with them. They are hiring a lot of new drivers, but their hiring process is slow and takes a lot of time(hr department sucks). Don't give up. I have been in San angelo a couple times to help yall out. How's the Clinch and Benny doing? Still busy? Good luck guys

Yep still very busy with those leases. We are busy all over this area. The bonuses are $600 a quarter now, payable at the end of the year. That's $2400 bonus.
