Yesterday was pretty much a lost day for me. Was so moved by the heart felt qualcomm message that we got in regards to "driver appreciation" weak I was unable to control myself. Hope I can keep it together today. Stay safe out there drivers.

Haven't heard anything about profit sharing this year. Maybe there isn't any or I'm the red headed buck-toothed step child.

The best I can say is if you've been here more than a full year, check with Sheldon or whatever terminal you run out of.

Anyhoo, quite an interesting trip up here to Warners. Got out of the shipper after pulling the trailer out of spot #666. (Possible omen?) halfway through PA my check engine light comes on AGAIN, another not so good sign... Especially when I gotta be home by Tuesday so I don't miss my flight!! I get into a dock, when I hear a crunching sound, and a big commotion. Seems CR England decided to whip around the yard a little too fast and did a number on the hood of one of Sysco's trucks.... Ouch!! Way to go England! Lol

Well, after a semi quiet couple of week, waynesboro hath struck again. Got scheduled on a late night pickup in friendship, ny, going to 2stops in md, the final one being the wonderful(NOT) c& s northeast md, and if naming a customer gets people in offices of this company nervous, I don't care this time. That's because I have already gave them notice that I am refusing any more loads to this godforsaken place after the screwing over that I got from both the warehouse and the 2 guys running things in virginia. I got the 1st drop in elkton off without a hitch, but northeast was a complete nightmare. They forgot to even schedule an appointment for it, and after running out of my 14 hour clock just pulling into the flying fishhook across the street, I tried to check on anyways after Josh's urging me to just to in anyways, and no surprise I was turned away, for which I kindly thanked the security guard for giving me a good reason I wasn't getting unloaded due to lack of an appointment. Later, as I was recovering from the red-eye overnight drive, I get a call from josh saying I was now scheduled at 1800. So, I grab a hot meal & a shower, head in about 1/2 hour ahead of the new appointment, for which I had to rewrite the lumper check since they couldn't make up their minds about the fee. I then wait 4.5 hours for which then I woke up, seeing my dock light turned green but no one called me. I finally get my paperwork and see they left 2 pallets untouched and refused, they just mention "damaged and refused " on the bills, and slammed the window shut before I could ask another question! After spending an hour on the phone with the new people in night dispatch, I was told I may have to take it to one of the shipper's facilities, which means I could affect the nice load going up to Warner's for Monday, which would have gotten me home for my vacation. If I hadn't been too pleased about josh & Cory's antics before, I am now LIVID. So, I get to pull into the j and get my first actual night of decent sleep in a week, and begin the game of getting rid of the 2 rejected pallets from the monstrosity of a load, as well as fighting the urge to stragle josh & Cory. I swear, vacation couldn't come soon enough. I guess the next couple of weeks while be deciding my future here, for which I won't comment more here until I come to the actual decision whether to stay and deal with the constant deception and secretiveness here, or to find a mileage pay outfit where I can stick to east- west running and make the same rate per mile regardless of direction, and I won't be stuck with this I-95 shorthaul crap(again, I have no problem hauling a load from way out in the Midwest to the eastern seaboard or New England, but if I wanted to do strictly up & down the east coast, I would've stuck to an outfit like jb hunt or schnieder. JMHO.) just to break 1k$. Again though I haven't made the final decision yet. I'm just trying to get my vacation and get far away for a week, then I'll come back to the grind and decide. Since it's already midnight and Friday night dispatch has left me hanging without a decision on this crap in my trailer, it's time for me to get blissfully unconcious(as in sleep, now get that idea about me being somehow intoxicated out of your head, because I don't drink!)

Usually I do, yes, but I have to be home early this week for vacation, but in the last 6 months since the change in dispatch in Sheldon I'm lucky if I see a load going even to michigan or Illinois. I'm delivering tomorrow in Syracuse, then off for my vacation.
