I have a B license and have been hauling extruded aluminum in Southern California for 10 years and recently found out my job is going to be changed to 30 hours after the first of the year. I have about decided to go to the Dootson school in Arcadia Ca, I have heard from some of the local drivers I know that the school is pretty good and it is just 20 minutes away so I can go on weekends and still work. The ideal situation for me would be to get on with one of the larger aluminum companies on the area that run trucks with soft sided trailers. I know the ideal doesn't always work out so my back up would be tankers. I am loving the amount of info on this site and the number of questions I can find the answers to just by looking.
