    Having electrical problems, first started with ignition switch sometimes the truck will crank and sometimes is doesn't. Took it to a mechanic who says he fixed the problem. Now when the truck is idling it will run for 8 to 10 minutes and then shut down. However when driving the truck it runs okay, only shuts down when idling. I've switched out the ignition switch, batteries, changed out fuses. Can't seem to resolve the problem. Any suggestions.

    to crank ore not to crank.... usually problem is starter relay mounted on firewall

    Engine shuts down - it is engine protection issure ore activated idle shutdown. Software thing, IMO

    on idlle try to check with cruise control turn on,after 10 mins. if its not shut down with cruise control go to volvo dealer they will reset with ecm..

    My issue is sometimes it starts 20 or more times then it won't do nothing not even a click?
    When that happens I pull start and then it works for 5 days ?

    sel. bad only after cleaning ALL con. from batt. 2 ground and back 2 starter.
