You may want to call them. I didn't get an email response from them until I had an actual recruiters address, not the general recruiting one. Good luck.

Well, Mr. ek5858, I guess you told me.
) I suppose without having met me you may have formed an opinion about me by the posts that I made, and that is fine. I am so happy that you have life, and trucking, all figured out. For your information, though, I am still in trucking and really enjoy it. Perhaps Roehl wasn't for me, but I am very happy where I am, and this work is much more lucrative than what I did "bumping docks". I am sorry to have touched a nerve in you, and I hope your Roehl experience continues to be grand. And good luck to all of you new students and drivers. Oh, wait. I said that to the last class also. I hope I don't sound repetitive.

If you really want to find a good company find one that you can't find anything about on here. It's like they say. No news is good news -

Why do guys that live in Florida want to work for a company based in WI? I never figured this out. There used to be a guy that I would see when ever I got through the Gary IN yard. He always had a Philly Eagles shirt that was 2 sizes too small. He would complain to anyone that would listen that Roehl could never get him home to El Paso, TX. He went on and on about it. He even was willing to rent a car from any where in TX just to get home. Just curious, I'm from WI so I figured I should probably work from a company from WI or at least the midwest.

I figure no matter which national carrier I work for, they're going to be based out of another state. I looked at some local/regional carriers in Florida, but they just weren't what I was looking for and most required experience anyway. As I said before, my selling point for Roehl was the Honor Program/Apprenticeship Program. That salary is going to save me the stress of not getting enough miles to survive.
