Schneider is actually looking for a few drivers to run regional out of Cali right now. There are not many spots though.
On a side note you learn something every day. I just discovered that we have a full time regional driver out in Casper,WY and apparently drivers all over the northwest. Not many but they are here. Who knew, certainly not me. I think a transfer might be in order. They park at customer yards, have gate access and everything.
Any one knows a good company offer Tanker Training?

Darn, if this was out of southern Cali, wish they'da been lookin for a driver for this back in May! Had they taken a new guy who needed training in tanks and had hired me, I'd be yankin tanks for Big Orange right now! Everything happens for a reason. I'm learnin to be content livin near Houston. I think God's got me right where He wants me though I have my preferences.

I drove for Schneider...very good about taking people with a lapse in driving experience. However, try to go to Dallas for training...not PA. It looked like to me that the big money was in team driving...if I ever go back to driving I'll have to give it a try (although it seems like a rough gig)
