As one whose professional life was almost completely training-focused, and one who has "successfully completed" two companies' training programs, I will tell you in this business, you want all the exposure you can get. Hitting things with the back third of the trailer or running over someone standing on a curb or mashing mirrors are really ugly lessons to learn the hard way.

 

It's possible to sleep two in the bunk of a lightweight. But you better like each other a WHOLE lot. And have an effective way of diffusing any disagreements. At least in a house you can walk away-ish. (Speaking as the wife.) The truck IS the girlfriend, or did you forget that part?

Well i pretty much just read all 394 pages took me 3 days of browsing i musta read IP talk about the inverters about 2 million times and how much you start out at or leasers make. I deducted that the question i was searching for only my recruiter could answer so i emailed him a very detailed message and he called me back this morning and left a very nice voice mail putting my worries to rest.

My question was. I had only put my current job which i had been at for 3.8 years and my military history on my app as when i was filling it out i wasn't set on it yet. So i emailed him and told him i had 2 other jobs one of which i was fired from for a bogus reason i might add! My fish count was off i was a manager of the pet section at petsmart. I beleive it had to do with dating the regional manager and regional directors niece and dumping her like it was hot. But anyway reading these forums i noticed employment was a big issue and i didnt want to leave my job which payed very well to goto MO and get sent back. Long story short he told me new hires they only look as far back as 3 years but it was good that i told him about the other jobs. I did read in here from IP they only go as far as three years but i had to be sure. So now i pushed my orientation up to october 15th so i can get this done. Thanks for all the info in this post.

 

Yeah, I don't have a wife, so I didn't know. Yeah, I don't think u can have a girlfriend ride with you anyway right? So is your husband liking his present employer? Oh sorry, I think he is the employer right?

 

How does Prime pay mileage? Is it HHG Shortest route, Practical, or ??

 

You can have a GF ride with you.

Company side is HHG, all miles loaded and empty. Lease is 72% of linehaul, fuel surcharge and accessorials.

 

Prime running trailers tails now? This is the second 2014 trailer I've seen come in with them.

 

Depending on who you talk to, one of us is the boss. But yes, we are enjoying the fruits of his labors. (And mine. Just cuz I don't drive doesn't mean I don't help.)
