I see that you just started with Trans Am this year and wanted to know if you could tell me if there is an agility test during the orientation and if there is, what does it entail? I received my conditional employment letter today and need to call and get an orientation date. Thanks for the info!

 

If you are asking if they make you lift stuff, and see how much stress you can handle, no they do not do that. 3 days orientation for experienced drivers then hit the road. If you are a student then I cant help you on that, because I had experience when I leased. No agility test that I know of.

 

I have been going through Husband's old notebooks to enter things on the blog. The New Jersey receivers are something of a problem. A couple of the addresses that he had written down from TransAm's routing are not right when I try to use google maps and then google the companies. They usually are close to the address that he was given. But I am not sure so I haven't put them on the blog for fear of putting the wrong information out there. Two that I have questions on are Strassburger Meats in Carlstadt, New Jersey and Export in Newark. Does anyone have an address for each of them?

 

I don't think that Husband had to go through any type of agility test as a company driver.

Not going back to FL. I got Friona to Brighton, MI and deliver today. Then pick up in Tiffin going to Cheyenne so its all good. Slacking off a lot this week but still getting 3100 miles.

Hey! Where is everybody???? The weather is supposed to change pretty dramatically in some parts of the country on Friday so be sure to check the weather forecasts.

 

Well the first day of orientation is done. Not much filled out paperwork and took drug test. Met EMCHIEF he is a nice guy for a chief(lol). He should do well cause he has a head on his shoulders. Tomorrow seems to be the big day and I will post what happens. But question to the more experienced Trans Am people is there any way I will get paid on a Friday if I am direct deposit or is there any trick to getting it on Friday to my bank? Just weird that direct deposit pays a business day later cause usually it pays everyone earlier than those who don't get it.
