My first 6 months with LST I spent more time in Houston then any other place. With Houston being one of our major yards, it's highly likely. But then again, when they know where you live, they do love to keep you away from there.
I've basically been doing a big loop these last two weeks. Pickup in Hutchinson, KS to Merlin, ON, pickup in Smithville, ON to Ridgeville, SC then pickup in Sanford, NC to OK/TX. That's been my last 6 loads. I'm heading home on the 17th.

truth, I never see AZ until I ask to go home and even that can be a struggle. Houston is probably a different case, they can't help but send you there. Dallas too.

Thanks guys... Im looking at lonestar now as possible option..

For instance, I live 5 miles from downtown NOLA. I've passed by the house once since I've been with LST and couldn't really stop as I had an "appointment" time in Clayton. However, on the upside, there was a project I was on for 4 months that had me home every weekend.

Does lonestar use transflo or tripak scanning?...do they pay based on empty call or when you turn in paperwork?
-
TriPak and you get paid when they get the paperwork.
-
What kind of miles are you guys avg for the most part?...does lonestar keep you busy majority of the time..as far as sitting, do you sit waiting on preplans or are they good at least trying to keep you moving as long as you have hours?

I wouldn't call 15 months soon after. Have followed this thread since Mystikal started it, you all seem like great people to know. Will the thread die since Mystikal is leaving?
