I always put 1-2 gallons of Lucas in at every oil change on my 2001 Detroit 60 Series with about 800k+ miles on it. It ran just fine. It actually ran better based on the oil samples at every change. But that wasn't a fresh rebuild either. Plus I no longer have that truck anymore.

Well I actually just sold that truck and trailer about a month ago. Not because of a mechanical issue or anything. But because I'm looking to switch over to car carrier. I'm looking to purchase a 9/10 car stinger and just jump out the window. I have a couple of buddies that are car carrier owner ops.
