maybe they changed their specs but when I was their gps came with the truck built into the dash.

 

the newer trucks come with gps mine did I loved it

 

I see you guys lost one today on I4/I275 ramp in Tampa, said driver was treated for minor injuries, at least that part is good news....

 

i saw a ad saying they are hiring teams? anybody know if they do O/O teams?

 

They do not have O/O, the new International/Peterbilts(579) do not navigation units. The 9**-1*** have Garmin units but they need to be updated

 

The Pete 579s do have the 'Smartnav" systems in them

 

Im surprised that doesn't happen more often as they will hire anyone with a warn body.

 

Dose anyone have any info on indian rivers teams there miles they average there wait time loading unloading tank washes we have talked to the recruiter but like to talk to some drivers that run team for them thanks

 

Cfannin, I have two friends that currently run team with IRT out of Clovis NM. What specifically did ya want to know. I can pass it on and get back to you!

 

I am still waiting on my teammate, but I can tell you what I have heard from other team drivers. Teams are given runs that are known to have shorter load/unload times and d/h customers; however, I am not saying that solo trucks do not get these same loads. Teams have an assigned dispatcher and not on regional dispatch, which would seem to make obtaining miles a bit easier. I was told that local drivers bring loaded tanks back to the yard in Winter Haven for teams to pick them up and roll; thus, eliminating extended loading times. Teams are often told to drop and hook a clean tank at the washes. Team trucks are equipped with EZ pass, so waiting in line at, and/or dodging, toll booths is not an issue. I assume you already have the pay information. If you give me a couple of weeks, I will be able to verify some of this. Until then, maybe someone already out there will be able to answer for you. I have yet to find anyone, other than online, that speaks negative about the company, and believe me, I interrogated many drivers when I was down in orientation. I think this is going to be a great fit for me!
