TA In Montgomery, AL - worse Truckstop in America

Other than being a bit run down (it's obviously an old T/A) I haven't had any problems there. Of course, I've only been there during daylight...

 

Yeah, sure do. There are a couple that are okay, London ON would likely rank at the top, but a lot of them I wouldn't let my dog eat at.

has the grossest bathrooms
you can't even think of stopping at the TA Roanoke VA without getting a reserved spot

Been there a time or two.

 

Well I took a chance and stayed there last night. Being a new driver it was my first time there and was a little hesitant after reading the posts despite them being 4yrs old. Maybe it was because I was parked near the fuel island I only got one knock on the door at about 11pm. I did not even bother answering, was very tired and went back to sleep. For dinner i crossed the road to eat at Captain's D Seafood and ordered grilled cod on a bed of rice, sides of coleslaw and a salad with a breadstick for $5.99 + tax with a free water. The meal was delicious, poor customer service but a fresh grilled piece of cod was great. First time eating at Captain's D, will definitely keep an eye out for them as I was very impressed with that meal. Only been out here a short time and have been turned off very quickly bye TA's poor quality and expensive food.
