Where is the best place to rent/lease a trailer for a couple of months? Any ideas on pricing? Never rented or leased one, just trying to get some input on places and prices.
    Thanks.

I was just going to ask the same thing. I called Ryder and their rates are ridiculous for a 53' reefer, $100/a day plus mileage. I picked up a 48' flatbed from hale trailer last week for someone and the lease rate was $450/ month. Idk if you have bad credit because they do go off of that for leasing unless you've been in business for a few years. But i need a reefer and I have bad credit so if anyone can recommend a place for me. Down payment is no problem.

so you pay basically 48 for tire wear???? provided you can run the tire bald. times 8 would be 384 dollars max.

what happens when tire gets replace for whatever reason???? and where do you rent the trailer from. and what do you haul with it.

i'm paying $220 a week for 53 step. no other charges. but thinking about pulling a tank.

Each 1/32 is $30 per tire. Say you only use 2/32. That's $60x4 for $240 (when you turn the trailer in). All tires are virgin. If you catch a bolt or etc, its on you. When you replace, he pays you $30 per 1/32.

check Polar and Southern tank for leasing. Tanks are very tough to find and lease. Especially if you don't have any history.

Another option is PO power only. Sometimes you get trailers for up to 10 days to use. You get paid up to a whooping $100 to deliver it, but what you make those days is yours to keep. That was how I started when I first got my authority.
Give a call to High Authority, a broker near Kansas City. Good luck.

I pay about $800 a month for a 53' dry van through Penske until I can buy one.
